Qualifications And Skills
- 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role as a Purchase Manager
- Proven track record of successfully managing purchasing activities and negotiating with suppliers
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and supply chain management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Proficiency in using purchasing software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
- Identify reliable suppliers and vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records of stock and supplies
- Work closely with other departments to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
- Review and analyze purchase requests, ensuring they meet quality standards and budgetary limitations
- Track and report key performance metrics, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory turnover
- Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers in a prompt and professional manner
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in purchasing and supply chain management
