• Manage end-to-end sourcing and purchasing of materials to ensure timely availability and cost efficiency
• Prepare purchase orders, track order status, and follow up with suppliers to avoid production or dispatch delays
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors; negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts
• Maintain optimal inventory levels, preventing stock-outs and overstocking
• Ensure accurate record keeping of purchase orders, contracts, pricing, and supplier details
• Coordinate closely with internal departments to understand material requirements and priorities
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing
• Handle dispatch of goods to branches, including documentation and coordination
• Manage returns, damaged materials, and inventory discrepancies
• Prepare purchase and cost reports, analyze spends, and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Support inventory procedures, cost projections, and budget control
• Assist in supplier evaluations, contract renewals, and market visits as required

What we are looking for.

• Graduate with 5+ years experience in Store Purchase / Procurement
• Strong knowledge of sourcing, vendor management, and inventory control
• Experience in B2B / industrial environment
• Good negotiation and cost-control skills
• Comfortable with purchase documentation, records, and reporting
• Tamil language proficiency mandatory
