Qualifications And Skills
- 4 to 6 years of experience as a Purchase Executive or in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in MS Office and purchasing software
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers
- Knowledge of the manufacturing industry is a plus
- Source and purchase materials, products, and services to meet the company's operational needs
- Collaborate with internal teams to determine materials and specifications required for production
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels
- Negotiate and secure favorable pricing and terms with suppliers
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance
- Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders or deliveries
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing suppliers
- Research and identify potential new suppliers
- Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to optimize purchasing decisions
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding purchasing and procurement
