Purpose Of The Role
The Assistant Manager - Projects & Facilities - will support the execution of new store projects, renovations, and infrastructure maintenance for retail outlets. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with brand standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys and provide feasibility assessments for new retail locations.
- Coordinate with Business Development & Operations teams to understand expansion plans and store setup requirements.
- Liaise with contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure the timely execution of store fit-outs.
- Track project progress, maintain documentation, and ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Participate in project review meetings, identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety codes, and retail infrastructure requirements.
- Monitor and support preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC systems, DGs, transformers, fire protection systems, lighting, and other utilities.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all retail stores operate smoothly without infrastructure issues.
- Oversee vendor management for equipment sourcing, installation, and maintenance contracts.
- Ensure proper documentation of equipment maintenance schedules, service records, and repair logs.
- Assist in vendor negotiations and ensure cost-effective procurement of essential infrastructure services.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory guidelines for store infrastructure.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in retail store projects, facilities management, or construction.
- Strong understanding of retail store design, project planning, and execution.
- Experience in vendor coordination, contractor management, and cost estimation.
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, fire safety, and other retail infrastructure components.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, project management tools, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
- Willingness to travel for site visits, inspections, and project oversight.
