Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Project Engineer to support the execution of construction and infrastructure projects at our manufacturing facilities in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in civil or mechanical engineering, hands-on experience in industrial construction, and must have exposure to pharmaceutical brownfield projects. This role demands close coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing construction projects including buildings, utilities, and production infrastructure.
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, safety, procurement) and external contractors to ensure project alignment.
- Support the development and tracking of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and monitor contractor performance to ensure quality and safety standards.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as BOQs, drawings, and progress reports.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and internal engineering protocols.
- Participate in vendor evaluation, tendering, and procurement processes.
- Identify and resolve technical or execution issues during construction phases.
- Promote continuous improvement and safety culture on-site.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 36 years of experience in construction or project engineering, preferably in industrial or plant environments.
- Mandatory exposure to pharmaceutical brownfield construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction techniques, project workflows, and engineering documentation.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and CAD software.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Effective communication and coordination skills; ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working on active construction sites.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Experience in greenfield or brownfield plant construction.
- Exposure to sustainable or energy-efficient construction practices.
- A dynamic role within a growing engineering team.
