Role Objective

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team. The Production Head will oversee and optimize the entire UAV manufacturing process, from setting up and scaling production lines to ensuring high-quality output and efficiency. This role requires hands-on expertise in establishing production lines for electromechanical assembly, wiring harnesses, and avionics components, all tailored to meet the demanding standards of UAV production.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

• Set up, configure, and scale production lines for UAV assembly, including layout planning, equipment selection, and workflow optimization for electromechanical components assembly of Unmanned Aerial Systems
• Manage the complete production setup, ensuring that lines are optimized for flexibility, minimal downtime, and high output quality.
• Recruit, onboard, and train a team of technicians, assembly supervisors, ensuring they are equipped with the skills needed for efficient and high-quality manufacturing.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, implementing Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies to streamline processes and reduce waste.
• Prepare and manage production budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
• Coordinate with engineering to align production capabilities with product specifications and testing requirements.
• Develop, track, and report production KPIs related to line efficiency, cycle time, and throughput.
• Train and manage the production team on assembly techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards to meet operational goals.
  
  

Educations & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of production management experience, with expertise in setting up production lines and building manufacturing teams in UAV Manufacturing, consumer/medical electronics manufacturing, or avionics manufacturing, wiring harness manufacturing or similar industries.
• Proven experience in team recruitment, training, and development in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies and ERP systems.
• Strong Knowledge of Quality Assurance, and Quality Management systems
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of managing and developing teams.
