As a Production Engineer, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient production of high-voltage switchgear and related components. Your responsibilities will span from the initial stages of production to final dispatch.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Maintain HSE and Quality standard in production line. Ensure in process quality checks and skill certification of blue-collar employees.
- Setting daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicating to the employees (blue collar/white collar/contract).
- Blue collar management for optimum qualitative output. Drive operational efficiency and enhance productivity across our manufacturing processes.
- Handling ISO audits and all internal audits. Ownership of equipment and facilities within line and recommend technical facility improvements as necessary.
- Ensure execution of volume, conforming product quality, and on-time delivery targets for the assigned production lines on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
- Identify deficiencies in production area, propose improvement activities (JDI, Kaizens, A3, 6Sigma), and oversees implementation and deployment of actions to improve production performance.
- Coach, guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect subordinates within QC, HR policies, Product knowledge, Continuous improvement tools etc.
- Participate in Technology Transfer of new products for Production and participate in all the Greenfield/Brownfield. projects for new facility development, expansion, or incorporation in existing line.
- Leading the Lean Light House deployment with factory operations team. Coordination with cross functional team for timely resolution of any issues as well as implement the best practices.
- Involves overseeing the entire production process, from the initial manufacturing steps to final packing and dispatch. You’ll collaborate closely with various teams to ensure seamless coordination, quality control, and timely delivery of our products.
- By managing this end-to-end process, you’ll contribute to our overall operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Mechanical/Electrical with 5-6 years' experience / Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical with 8-10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Production Supervision experience (Switchgear will be preferable). Working knowledge on SAP (PP & MM).
- Should be able to handle the subordinates efficiently with care. Should have high attitude for quality.
- Experienced professional in Continuous Improvement. (Greenbelt in Lean Sis Sigma is an advantage)
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
