Product Specialist (T)

Job Summary

As a Product Specialist (T) you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality microservices and Java web services. You will work in a hybrid model collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. Your role will involve ensuring the seamless integration of services within the Property & Casualty Insurance domain enhancing our product offerings and contributing to the companys success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices and Java web services to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Ensure the best possible performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering design coding testing and deployment.
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures including security and data protection standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and methodologies.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
  
  

Qualifications

• Possess strong experience in developing microservices and Java web services.
• Demonstrate proficiency in software development best practices and methodologies.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Have a good understanding of the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
• Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Display strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Have a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 7 years of relevant experience.
