Role Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with a strong background in Biomedical Engineering & Medical Devices.
  • The ideal candidate should have hands on technical expertise, product lifecycle management experience, and a proven track record in launching innovative healthcare solutions.
  • This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, technical troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

 Product Development & Launch:

  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for medical devices, from concept to market.
  • Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory teams to ensure timely and successful product launches.
  • Identify and define product features based on market trends, customer needs, and technological advancements.

Technical Expertise

  • Act as the primary technical expert for the product, ensuring all specifications are met.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and provide hands-on support to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to validate design and performance against medical standards.

Market & Strategy

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for new product development.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to create go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
  • Develop pricing models and business cases to support product positioning.

Regulatory & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with medical device regulations (e.g., FDA, CE, ISO) throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies to facilitate product certifications and approvals.

Customer Support & Training

  • Provide technical support to customers and internal teams post launch.
  • Train sales and service teams on product features, troubleshooting, and usage.

Continuous Improvement

  • Gather user feedback and performance data to inform product updates and enhancements.
  • Implement product updates based on clinical needs and technological developments.

Qualifications And Skills

 Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Electronics, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management for medical devices.
  • Hands-on experience in technical troubleshooting and product lifecycle management.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of medical device development processes and standards.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements like ISO 13485, FDA, or CE marking.
  • Knowledge of software integration for connected medical devices is a plus.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional, global teams.
