Overview

We’re looking for a Product Designer with a knack for simplifying complexity to join our team at Celigo. We want someone who adds to the diversity of our team yet shares our values for collaboration, curiosity, and excellence. Help us evolve the user experience of our scaling platform!

As a Product Designer you’ll be developing your craft and professionalism in a cross-functional team of product owners, UX researchers, technical writers, and engineers. In this role, you’ll be evolving and improving the user experience, ensuring that we remain focused on the true problems to solve and that we do so with an evidence-based approach and a commitment to intuitive, cohesive, and accessible solutions.

You will be supporting the direction set by design leadership: this role is for someone building their expertise. We are seeking someone with an open mind and a demonstrated ability to understand user centricity and a value for research, and manifest that understanding in intuitive and compelling designs.

This role reports to the Manager of UX Design.

What would you do, if hired?

• Operate as a supporting designer in a product Triad (product management, UX, and engineering units operating as equal partners), contributing to design solutions that meet – if not exceed – customer needs and expectations
• Apply research findings and insights into feature flows, customer journeys, and clickable prototypes that can be easily translated into code
• Create prototypes with a growing understanding of accessibility principles and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2
• Develop a familiarity with our platform, to understand common use cases, and identify opportunities for improvement
• Contribute to weekly design reviews: sharing works in progress, and giving/receiving feedback in support of everyone’s improvement
  
  

Essential Requirements

• Portfolio, website, or case studies of your work
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Empathy for our customers, and the ability to apply research findings and insights into design solutions
• Strong growth mindset and sense of humility
• Proficiency with rapid prototyping tools, e.g., Figma/FigJam, Miro, etc.
• Ability to design for global audiences while working in a distributed team model
• Alignment with, and commitment to Celigo Values
  
  

Desirable Skills

• Involvement in the UX community
• General understanding of platform integration and iPaaS; Familiarity with B2B applications or SaaS projects
• Knowledge of accessibility principles
• Familiarity with agile methodology or similarly iterative cycles
• Interest in creating and documenting design system components
