Our Company

We’re Hitachi Digital, a company at the forefront of digital transformation and the fastest growing division of Hitachi Group. We’re crucial to the company’s strategy and ambition to become a premier global player in the massive and fast-moving digital transformation market.

Our group companies, including GlobalLogic, Hitachi Digital Services, Hitachi Vantara and more, offer comprehensive services that span the entire digital lifecycle, from initial idea to full-scale operation and the infrastructure to run it on. Hitachi Digital represents One Hitachi, integrating domain knowledge and digital capabilities, and harnessing the power of the entire portfolio of services, technologies, and partnerships, to accelerate synergy creation and make real-world impact for our customers and society as a whole.

Imagine the sheer breadth of talent it takes to unleash a digital future. We don’t expect you to ‘fit’ every requirement – your life experience, character, perspective, and passion for achieving great things in the world are equally as important to us.

The Team

We are seeking a Procurement Digital Operations Coordinator to support Hitachi Digital Global Procurement in optimizing business processes through effective use of systems. This role is not part of the core IT team, but rather serves as a liaison between Procurement leaders/users and the corporate IT department, ensuring that system-related needs and improvements are accurately captured and communicated.

The Role

  • Act in alignment with organizational IT strategy and business process design as defined by leadership.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact within the procurement team for system-related topics.
  • Coordinate with IT departments across operational companies to ensure system consistency and integration.
  • Collect and analyze system-related requests and feedback from procurement users.
  • Propose system and process improvement ideas to the Procurement leadership team.
  • Support system implementation projects by representing the business side and ensuring user requirements are met.
  • Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams.
  • Provide basic training and documentation for procurement systems to internal users.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in procurement operations or business systems coordination.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and workflows.
  • Experience working with ERP or procurement-related systems (user-side, not technical implementation).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Business-level proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a global or cross-functional environment.
  • Familiarity with business process mapping or improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to translate business needs into system requirements.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and change facilitation
