As a Process Engineer, it's an interesting time for you to come on board at Vopak Global Tech & Engineering (GTE)! GTE, with offices in Rotterdam and Singapore, carries out the conceptualizing & development of all major projects in India. The position is located in Mumbai, India. We are looking for a talented Process/Project Engineer who shares our passion for safety, innovative thinking, use of new technology, and a commitment to risk management.

Your three main missions
‘You will be responsible to conceptualize the business opportunities into viable projects’
‘You will deliver the feasibility and pre-FEED designs for oil, chemicals and gas projects’
‘You will support the development of Basis Of Design (BOD), as part of the Investment Proposals (IP’s) for the various projects’

Working as an integral part of the Global Tech & Engineering team Your Job;
- Prepare the PFD, Layout in AUTO CAD ensuring meeting local local regulations, Vopak standards, and international standards
- Prepare the basis of design, functional requirements, process description, performance measurement criteria, and commissioning plans;
- Having prior experience in Hydrogen, CO2, and Ammonia will be advantage.
- Prepare process flow diagrams, plot plan, piping & instrument diagrams, process specs for equipment;
- Carry out technical calculations using Global Tech & engineering design tools and processes to support designs
- Review and prepare project design specifications; comply with local regulations, Vopak standards, and international standards while developing designs;
- Stakeholder engagement; raising GE profile among project engineers within the organization, training other project engineers as required
- Help to prioritize within the Global Tech & Engineering department (projects, long-term initiatives) and to contribute the Global Tech & Engineering vision/mission
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering;
- 5+ years of experience in a project/process engineering position in a related industry;
- Experience in AUTOCAD is a must.
- Knowledge of piping systems, tanks, and equipment including pumps, compressors, and valves;
- Fluent in English and open to travel;
- Customer orientation; quality orientation; result orientation.
