Job Summary

IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Private Banker to join our First Private team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wealth and private banking, with a proven track record of building and managing relationships with high net worth individuals. As a Private Banker, you will be responsible for providing personalized banking and investment services to our First Private clients, while also driving business growth and revenue for the bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with high net worth individuals, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert advice on banking, investment, and wealth management products and services
• Proactively identify opportunities to grow the First Private client base and increase revenue for the bank
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Wealth Management and Investment Banking, to provide a comprehensive suite of financial services to clients
• Stay updated on market trends and industry developments to provide informed recommendations to clients
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies and procedures
• Represent the bank at industry events and networking opportunities to promote the First Private brand
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth and private banking, with a proven track record of managing high net worth clients
• Strong understanding of financial products and services, including banking, investments, and wealth management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues
• Proven sales and business development skills, with a focus on driving revenue and growth
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the banking industry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed
