Responsibilities

As a key member of our team in the role of Principal Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, deploying, and overseeing solutions aimed at protecting end users from cyber threats.

Your responsibilities will span across teams, requiring collaboration with partners to forge innovative mobile threat defense solutions. The solutions you design must be robust, capable of evolving over multiple updates, and meet the high standards of scalability, availability, and reliability expected of top-tier mobile applications. Collaborating with Program Managers and other Security Engineering teams, you will play a crucial role in developing fundamental features for mobile threat defense, directly contributing to the safeguarding of millions of users from malware.

Moreover, your initiative and commitment to quality will drive you to ensure the excellence of our code, introduce innovative ideas to our products, and enhance our engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Over 12 years of experience in software engineering, with a track record of delivering commercially successful software products and services.
• 3-4 years of mobile development exp (IOS /Android)
• Skilled in nurturing and developing talent within the team.
• Strong communication skills and proficient in working with multidisciplinary teams, including Software Engineers, Program Managers, Security Researchers, and Data Scientists.
• Extensive experience in programming for Android and iOS.
• Solid understanding of network programming fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VPN, HTTPS, etc.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledgeable in secure software development practices.
• Experienced with various software development tools, including source control systems (GIT), automated build systems, compilers, software validation systems, project tracking, and lifecycle management systems.
• Holds a BS or MS degree in Computer Science.
