Principal Architect, Retail, Google Cloud

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience as an enterprise architect or in a customer-facing role.
• Experience in cloud market insights and cloud computing across applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, or data.
• Experience in working with technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with structured enterprise architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps.
• Experience in supporting the Retail and e-Commerce industries.
• Experience in enterprise technology with buying and evaluation process, building, architecting, designing, and implementing distributed global cloud-based systems.
• Knowledge of computing solutions.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to position the solution of multiple products.
• Ability to collaborate with audiences and identify expansion engagements within accounts.

In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams to help customers design, plan, implement, and govern enterprise cloud strategies. You will lead conversation and direct the execution of the business team by combining technical direction and business insight. You will partner with the Value Engineering team to articulate the value of each technical solution and the business partnership with Google Cloud.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities

• Build a trusted advisory relationship with accounts and engage with Architects, Vice President (VP) of Engineering, Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO), and identify customer priorities, technical issues and design strategies encompassing the entire Google ecosystem to deliver business value and resolve blockers.
• Provide guidance around public cloud and enterprise technology, and promote Google Cloud with customers at conferences and online.
• Make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to implement a complete solution while providing best practices to customers to optimize Google Cloud effectiveness.
• Manage the enterprise architecture relationship with customers by collaborating with specialists, product management, technical teams, etc.
• Travel 50% of the time to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required.
