Ciklum is looking for a Presales Manager to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

As a Presales Manager, you will anchor presales for designated territories, driving strategic sales support and bid management from opportunity qualification through to deal closure. This role blends solution expertise with proposal leadership to deliver high-quality responses, compelling demonstrations, and winning value propositions. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in IT services presales—spanning product engineering, AI, cloud, and data solutions—along with strong leadership capabilities and the ability to collaborate across functions to accelerate revenue growth.


Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end presales process from opportunity qualification to closure
  • Support the identified Markets team to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, focusing on closing deals and meeting sales targets
  • Work closely with the GTM teams during the presales phase to gain understanding of client’s business challenges, requirements, and objectives
  • Create high-quality proposals and RFP (Request for Proposal) responses. Ensure the solution is clearly articulated, including technical, operational, and financial
  • aspects
  • Create client-facing presentations to effectively communicate Ciklum’s service offering, solution description, pricing & engagement models, etc.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders including service lines, delivery, architects, subject matter experts (SMEs), and product managers to ensure the feasibility and quality of proposed solutions
  • Work on market analysis, specific client research, white space analysis, analyze competitive landscapes to understand market positioning and adjust proposals accordingly to maximize win rates
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and competitors’ offerings to develop differentiated solutions


Requirements:

Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience Level: 10-15 years of overall experience in the IT services Industry, with min of 7years+ of Presales experience in the areas described above
  • Technical Expertise: Must have strong IT Services knowledge - product engineering, AI & ML, Data Engineering & analytics, cloud computing, mobile,
  • customer experience and other cutting-edge technologies
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Consultative Selling: Ability to engage in solution-based selling and create value propositions that resonate with clients

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • MBA from a recognized institute (preferred in Marketing, IT, or Strategy)
  • Presales certifications (APMP, etc.) and relevant technology credentials (AWS, Azure, Salesforce, ITIL, TOGAF, etc.) are an advantage

  • Win rate for opportunities supported
  • Revenue influenced by the presales team
  • Quality and timeliness of RFP/RFI responses
  • Internal Stakeholder satisfaction and feedback scores
