The Value & Solution Engineering group (VSE) partners with the Sales organization to deliver impactful customer experiences by combining in-depth knowledge of BMC solutions with a deep understanding of the customer’s business. By leveraging their technical expertise, value-based selling techniques, and Engagement Excellence deliverables, VSE helps the customers discover and realize the value that BMC provides to their organizations.

Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC Software's and your own success:

• Support Value and Solution Engineers on customer opportunities and deliverables.
• Develop customer-facing collaterals, templates, toolsets, and white papers in MS PowerPoint, Word, and video format.
• Create and update deliverable templates aligned with customer engagement phases and market trends.
• Manage key projects within VSE using project management principles.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Oversee and improve the VSE platform in coordination with IT and content managers.
• Conduct research on technology, industry trends, and customer value.
• Curate presales knowledge management content and reusable assets.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with BMC messaging and brand standards.
• Identify content needs, provide linguistic reviews, and ensure consistency.
• Propose and implement process improvements and automation.
• Enable the field to execute core processes more efficiently.
  
  

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• You have 4-7 years of presales or equivalent customer-facing experience in a global IT organization.
• You understand sales and presales operations and collaborate effectively across teams.
• You have strong project management knowledge and execution skills.
• You are experienced in managing projects and internal tools, coordinating with stakeholders.
• You are proficient in MS Office with strong analytical abilities.
• You excel in storytelling, presentation, and communication.
• You can execute different types of delivery activities effectively.
• You have general application and technology knowledge.
• You integrate seamlessly into teams and take an active expert role.

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 2,033,200 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
