India Subregion Practice Director:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Professional Services/Consulting to lead our team in delivering exceptional client solutions.

As a Practice Director you will :

  • Collaborate closely with our sales teams to strengthen customer relationships and expand the Cloudera Professional Services business.
  • Engage with customers at the executive level to drive the Cloudera Professional Services business.
  • Define, scope, and sell strategic customer engagements, and actively participate in their delivery.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and success within your region.
  • Oversee services revenue and bookings forecasts, and manage performance in your region.
  • Develop effective partnerships and work with your peers to optimize our Professional Services go-to-market strategy.
  • Attract, hire, and retain top talent in the industry., hire and retain the top talent in the industry
  • Guide technical discussions with senior client executives to drive decisions and implementation
  • Work closely with APAC leaders to ensure alignment of Indian subregion
  • Directly manage a geographically dispersed team of highly talented, technically skilled employees.
  • Required to travel within the region 20-30%, as required.


We’re excited about you if you have:

  • Extensive experience managing Professional Services/Consulting teams, focusing on enterprise software or SaaS.
  • Leadership in selling, scoping, and delivering large-scale, technology-driven projects.
  • Proven track record in customer relationship management, including handling escalations and participating in executive steering meetings.
  • Deep expertise in the data domain, distributed computing, hybrid cloud operations, and IT strategy.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of software implementation and project/program management methodologies.
  • Known for a proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Exceptional communication skills: adept in verbal, written, and presentation formats.
  • Strong negotiation abilities coupled with excellent analytical skills.


It is a plus if you have:

  • Masters degree in Computer Science and/or business administration
  • Experience interacting with Cloudera software
