NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. The shift pattern for this post is 5 days over 7.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work as part of the portering team responsible for delivering portering services to a wide range of stakeholders, in a timely manner.
You will be responsible for escorting patients between departments and wards throughout the hospital sites. The successful candidate will transport equipment, medical records, mail, meal trolleys, and specimens, units of blood, blood products, medical gases, medicine, supplies, instruments, dressings and sundries. Along with other tasks which are in commensurate to the post and as required by Management team.
