About This Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive GCP Platform Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The individual will work closely with development, security, and operations teams to enable cloud-native solutions, automate infrastructure, and support application migrations. This role is part of the Data & Analytics function within VOIS Technology (TSSW), supporting the Nucleus Portugal project. The position is based in Pune, Bangalore, or Ahmedabad and is open to permanent or contract hiring.

About This Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive GCP Platform Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The individual will work closely with development, security, and operations teams to enable cloud-native solutions, automate infrastructure, and support application migrations. This role is part of the Data & Analytics function within VOIS Technology (TSSW), supporting the Nucleus Portugal project. The position is based in Pune, Bangalore, or Ahmedabad and is open to permanent or contract hiring.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging
- Configure and manage IAM roles, service accounts, and VPC networking
- Ensure security best practices, compliance, and cost optimisation across GCP environments
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues and provide on-call support as needed
- Apply strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
- Use scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation
- Support Datawarehouse and ETL concepts in cloud environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in Agile ceremonies
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps
- Proficient in GCP components including BigQuery, Datafusion, and SQL/PLSQL
- Strong understanding of Datawarehouse concepts and ETL pipelines
- Skilled in Terraform, Python, Bash, and GCP-native tools
- Familiar with networking, firewalls, load balancers, and DNS in cloud environments
- Knowledge of cloud security, identity management, and cost governance
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Demonstrates analytical thinking, proactive issue resolution, and team collaboration
- Holds a valid Indian passport and open to rare travel requirements
- GCP certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect or DevOps Engineer are desirable
