Planning Executive – Production in Perungudi, Chennai

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule material orders based on technical requirements.
• Prepare the checklist and Material Requirement Chart (MRC) upon order confirmation.
• Coordinate with the Purchase and Merchandising teams for timely procurement.
• Review the Bill of Materials (BOM) and update recaps as needed.
• Track ETA of trims and manage QC shortages efficiently.
• Monitor the Planned Cut Date (PCD) schedule and ensure timely material movement to the factory.
• Communicate shortages or delays promptly and arrange replacements when required.
• Report production status to the Production Manager on a regular basis.
• Manage inward movement of sample materials for buyer approvals (Buyer: Eddie Beaver).
