Responsible For

  • Finalization of stress analysis design criteria documents
  • Stress Analysis of critical piping (Main Steam, CRH, HRH, HP Bypass & LP Bypass system) and boiler auxiliary piping.
  • Piping Support and hanger engineering of critical piping (Main Steam, CRH, HRH, HP Bypass & LP Bypass system) and boiler auxiliary piping.
  • Pipe support load data for foundation and structure design
  • Preparation of pipe support/hanger data sheet for vendor bought out
  • Customer coordination for document/drawing approval.
  • Vendor coordination for pipe support/hanger engineering.

Required Skills

  • Stress Analysis of critical piping systems like Main Steam, HRH, CRH, HP Bypass, LP Bypass, Feed Water and Boiler auxiliary piping for supercritical power plant
  • Stress Analysis (Static & Dynamic Analysis) comprises of weight & flexibility analysis, modal analysis, seismic & wind analysis, steam hammer analysis, PSV analysis etc.
  • Hands on experience in working CAESAR II, ROHR 2 or Auto pipe.
  • Good understanding of codes and standards e.g. ASME B31.1/ASME B31.3 code ASTM, ASME BPVC, IS code and IBR code.
  • Knowledge of pipe support/hanger engineering (e.g. spring hanger, struts & snubbers selection).
  • Expansion Loop sizing for high temp. piping on pipe rack.
  • Trunnion & Lug attachments Calculation.
  • Hands on experience in working on 3D platform.
