The channel sales game is outdated. Most partner managers are stuck nurturing under-performers or babysitting legacy accounts that will never break through. Meanwhile, Generative AI is reshaping how products are sold and how channel ecosystems get built, and too many companies are still using spreadsheets and guesswork to find resellers.

At GFI, we're doing things differently. We're using AI to hunt, qualify, and activate a new breed of reseller: the kind who sees where the market is going and wants in now. We find partners who are a fit, onboard them fast, and arm them with AI-powered sales content that closes deals from day one. In this role, you won't be another link in a long channel chain. You'll be the architect of a high-output revenue engine.

This role is not about waiting for inbound leads, managing warm accounts, or following some stale playbook. You'll be deploying AI to identify high-potential partners, designing fast-track onboarding journeys that convert, and activating new accounts that generate revenue within weeks. If you've got a hunter mindset and you're already using AI tools to outmaneuver your competitors, you'll feel right at home here. If you want to "manage relationships" and attend quarterly business reviews, this isn't the gig for you.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Create curated lists of potential resellers, ranked by how likely they are to generate revenue using insights from AI tools
  • Build tailored onboarding experiences that get resellers ready to sell our AI products quickly and confidently
  • Turn newly onboarded partners into active sellers who close deals and stay engaged in our AI-driven ecosystem

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Managing a portfolio of legacy partners who aren't ready to embrace AI-driven sales
  • Spending time on quarterly business reviews and administrative tasks
  • Following traditional partner management playbooks
  • Waiting for inbound partner inquiries

Partner Development Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue by identifying, onboarding, and activating high-potential resellers who are eager to ride the wave of bleeding-edge AI solutions

Basic Requirements

  • Advanced generative AI proficiency (i.e., use of multiple AI tools, ability to automate workflows and custom GPTs); if you've only used LLMs for research, learning, brainstorming, or content generation, that will be deemed insufficient
  • At least 2 years of channel sales experience, specifically in sourcing and onboarding new partners (not just managing existing ones)

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
