Job Summary
We are seeking a technically strong and experienced Lead Packages Engineer to manage the design and engineering activities related to process and utility packages on major EPC/EPCM projects. The role involves leading a team of engineers, ensuring quality and timely deliverables, coordinating with vendors and interdisciplinary teams, and supporting field engineering activities for construction. Expertise in Gas Dehydration, Air Separation, PSA, Desalter, Chemical Injection, Air Dryer, N2 Generation, Refrigeration, Water Treatment, Emergency Power, and Bulk Material Handling packages per relevant international codes and standards is essential.

The role involves leading a team of engineers, ensuring quality and timely deliverables, coordinating with vendors and interdisciplinary teams, and supporting field engineering activities for construction. Expertise in Gas Dehydration, Air Separation, PSA, Desalter, Chemical Injection, Air Dryer, N2 Generation, Refrigeration, Water Treatment, Emergency Power, and Bulk Material Handling packages per relevant international codes and standards is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all Engineering activities related to process and utility packages procurement throughout the project lifecycle — from concept to commissioning.
- Define scope, deliverables, and timelines for all package-related activities in alignment with the overall project schedule.
- Coordinate and oversee the preparation, review, and approve technical supply specifications, data sheets, purchase requisitions, technical bid evaluations (TBE) for process and utility packages.
- Lead vendor documents review and follow-up activities and ensure technical compliance to relevant package equipment codes, standards and specifications throughout procurement and execution stages.
- Supervise and guide a team of packages engineers (minimum team size: 5 engineers).
- Review and approve engineering deliverables and vendor documents, ensuring adherence to project quality standards and HSE requirements.
- Provide technical support to procurement and construction teams, including site support and issue resolution.
- Coordinate material quantities and weight estimation.
- Ensure proper discipline workflow and interfaces with other engineering disciplines such as process, piping, civil, electrical and instrumentation.
- Participate in vendor meetings, inspections, and FATs.
- Monitor resources utilization and engineering deliverables and vendor follow-up activities progress to ensure efficiency and alignment with project goals.
- Assist in proposals and bid preparation activities, including scope definition, engineering man-hour estimation and material cost estimations.
