Job Title OT Cybersecurity Engineer – Network Protection

As a(n) OT Cybersecurity Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by;

The OT Cybersecurity Engineer – Network Protection is responsible for building, maintaining, and continuously improving network security measures to safeguard Solventum’s critical OT environments. This role ensures robust network segmentation, secure remote access, and integration with advanced authentication solutions, while aligning with industry-leading frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST CSF, and NIST 800-82.

Key Responsibilities: 1

• Build and maintain network protection solutions: Deploy and manage next-generation firewalls, intrusion prevention/detection systems (IPS/IDS), and network access control (NAC) solutions.
• Implement security measures: Safeguard OT systems and networks, ensuring alignment with Purdue Model segmentation principles.
• Secure remote access: Implement, monitor, and optimize and secure remote access solutions for OT environments.
• Segmentation and authentication: Secure network segmentations and integrate with segmented secure authentication mechanisms.
• OT secure backups: Implement and maintain secure backup solutions for OT systems.
• Advanced technical support: Provide expert-level technical support to implement and optimize security technologies and enhance current infrastructure.
• Policy and standards alignment: Align and enhance OT cybersecurity policies, standards, and processes.
• Risk management: Identify, report, and mitigate risks and gaps in OT network security. Apply knowledge of vulnerability management, threat detection, and risk evaluation with OT prioritization and mitigation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the OT Cybersecurity Architect, IT SOC, OT Security Governance, and Cybersecurity Regional and Local Resources.
• Incident response: Enhance incident response capabilities in collaboration with site teams and the Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Asset management: Support and enhance OT asset management practices.
  
  

Your Skills

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Overall 10years of experience with Relevant 5+yrs of experience in network security technologies and OT environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network security issues.
  
  

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• Experience with NIST CSF, IEC 62443, and NIST 800-82.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
