Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you will be handling Order Management Specialist – All products (flow business ELSP, ELIP & ELSB), reporting to Customer Operations Manager Business Area Electrification located in Bangalore and will be responsible for Order handling/ Execution and end to end resolution of Post sales customer requests and for the execution of warranty of Product / customer complaints/ dispute process in timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction
The work model for the role is:
The role will support for the ABB India Ltd for Electrification Smart Power business to be based at Nelamangala, Bangalore.
You will be mainly accountable for:
ABB Smart Power provides energy distribution solutions for data centers, industrial and manufacturing plants, critical infrastructure and commercial buildings. The Division’s technical teams work closely with industry partners, delivering advanced solutions that support rapid growth, energy transition, and sustainability objectives. The Division’s portfolio includes industrial circuit breakers, low-voltage systems, motor starting applications, and safety devices like switches and relays. Its Power Protection unit supports the world’s largest data center companies with advanced energy-efficient UPS solutions. The Division’s ABB Ability Energy Manager provides a scalable, easy-to-use platform that helps organizations save energy and reduce CO2 emissions.

The role will support for the ABB India Ltd for Electrification Smart Power business to be based at Nelamangala, Bangalore.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Sales Order Management – Enter, amend, or cancel customer sales orders in SAP as per requirements, ensuring error-free compliance with ABB regulations and maintaining a clear backlog.
- Process Excellence – Conduct root cause analysis to ensure Error Free Orders (EFO), maintain accurate documentation, and report KPIs as required.
- Customer Support – Act as the face of ABB to resolve inquiries, manage order modifications, expedite deliveries, and ensure timely communication with customers/FES.
- Shipment & Coordination – Follow up on delivery status, secure necessary shipping documents, and collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Over 5 years of experience in Order Management / Operations Management roles.
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP) and SFDC with practical knowledge in order processes.
- Skilled in using effective problem-solving methodologies to resolve operational issues.
- Qualification should be either Diploma/BE in Electrical & Electronics / Mechanical / Production Engineering.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word) for reporting and analysis.
- Effective communicator with ability to collaborate across all levels, customers, and stakeholders.
- Highly organized, able to navigate diverse environments, and team-oriented, with focus on best practice sharing and supporting business growth.
