We are seeking a talented Oracle Applications Admin with DevOps expertise to oversee the smooth functioning of Oracle EBS environments, manage deployments, and support DevOps automation processes. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Oracle Apps administration and experience in implementing DevOps practices to streamline and automate workflows.
Key Responsibilities
6+ years of experience in Oracle Applications (EBS R12/Cloud) administration.
Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL, PL/SQL, WebLogic, and middleware administration.
Experience with DevOps tools: Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
Expertise in Linux/Unix shell scripting and system administration.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and containerization.
Preferred Skills
Experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud platforms.
Knowledge of monitoring tools like Nagios, Grafana, or Prometheus.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
ITIL or DevOps certifications will be an advantage.
Work Timings
Current Schedule: 1 week IST, followed by 1 week PST (until 5 pm PST).
Future Schedule: 3 weeks IST, followed by 1 week PST (until 5 pm PST).

Key Responsibilities
- Oracle Apps Administration:
- Manage Oracle EBS (R12 / Cloud) environments, including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and cloning.
- Monitor and optimize Oracle databases and middleware components.
- Manage concurrent processing, system workflows, and custom application integrations.
- Provide performance tuning, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- DevOps Practices:
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for Oracle applications using Jenkins, Git, or similar tools.
- Automate infrastructure deployment using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth releases and deployments.
- Manage version control, automated builds, and configuration management.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
- Utilize monitoring tools (such as Nagios, Grafana, or Prometheus) to ensure system stability and uptime.
- Analyze logs and resolve performance issues proactively.
- Perform root cause analysis on production incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (DBA, DevOps, and functional consultants) to coordinate releases and updates.
- Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
- Train team members and share best practices for Oracle and DevOps management.
6+ years of experience in Oracle Applications (EBS R12/Cloud) administration.
