Motion brings pleasure to design. It’s the invisible thread that weaves usability, emotion, and delight into digital experiences. We’re looking for a UX Motion Designer who is passionate about creating elegant, intuitive, and compelling motion systems for modern banking.

You are a designer who thrives at the intersection of interaction and animation, with a strong grasp of usability and a refined aesthetic sense. You understand how motion can amplify a product’s usability and emotional resonance while aligning with technical feasibility.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design & Conceptualization: Create 2D and 3D motion design concepts that enhance usability, clarify interactions, and add personality to digital products. Craft smooth micro-interactions and dynamic transitions that resonate with the brand's voice.
• Prototyping: Build high-quality prototypes using tools like After Effects, Figma, or Principle to communicate motion and interaction concepts effectively.
• Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, developers, and product managers to ensure motion is seamlessly integrated into the overall product design and development process.
• Design Systems: Develop and maintain motion design guidelines and contribute to the design system to ensure consistency across platforms.
• User-Centric Motion: Advocate for motion as a tool to improve usability, accessibility, and emotional engagement, aligning with user research and testing insights.
• Technical Guidance: Provide motion specs and work alongside developers to ensure accurate implementation, optimizing for performance and scalability.
• Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques to ensure motion design at IDFC First Bank remains cutting-edge.
  
  

Key Skills

• Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of tools like Lottie, Rive, Spline, After Effects, Figma (advanced prototyping), PPT/Keynote (advanced animations). Familiarity with HTML/CSS animations is a bonus.
• Design Expertise: A strong understanding of animation principles, interaction design, and user experience best practices.
• Problem Solving: The ability to conceptualize creative motion solutions to enhance user journeys and resolve interaction pain points.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and storytelling skills to articulate the "why" behind your motion designs to stakeholders.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your best motion design work, including micro-interactions, transitions, and system-level animations.
  
  

Education Qualification

• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in design or art-related field
• Certification and/or training in relevant software programs
  
  

Experience: 2-4 years
