MostEdge - MySQL Database Administrator - Performance Tuning

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Developer & Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in database management, including backup management, query optimization, and performance tuning. This role will focus on both Relational and NoSQL databases, with strong emphasis on MySQL. Experience with MongoDB and cloud environments, especially AWS and RDS, is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Database Administration : Manage database infrastructure, ensure the security, availability, and performance of databases.
• Backup Management : Implement and oversee regular database backups, ensuring data integrity and the ability to restore data when needed.
• Query Optimization : Analyze and optimize complex queries to enhance application performance.
• Performance Tuning : Regularly monitor and adjust database parameters and performance metrics to ensure the system is running efficiently.
• Database Design : Design and maintain database schemas, ensuring scalability, data integrity, and compliance with business needs.
• Cloud Infrastructure : Work with cloud environments like AWS and RDS to ensure smooth database operation in cloud-native systems.
