Finance Manager

Qualys is looking for Finance Manager to Join its India Accounting team at Pune office. As the Finance Manager you will lead the accounting & finance functions of international entities. You will lead a team that is responsible for all accounting and finance compliance of international subsidiaries of Qualys Inc. You will be responsible for monthly/ quarterly close process, preparing financial statements, cash management, expense management and other analysis to assist the company in making sound strategic decisions.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee and manage all work of the accounting team and work towards ensuring overall teams’ development.
• Support all aspects of our accounting and reporting process, including performing reviews of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and preparation of the monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analysis with both US GAAP and local accounting standards.
• Manage annual statutory audits and financial statements, including working directly with auditors and ensuring timely compliance with local legal requirements.
• Partner closely with cross-functional business partners, including other finance team within India, FP&A, HR, Operations, and HQ team.
• Work on process optimization/standardization and automation efforts to improve efficiency and effectiveness on a continuous basis using technology solutions and automation.
• Ensure all key internal controls over operations and financial reporting are operating in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley rules and regulations.
• Assisting HQ team in completing the quarterly review, annual financial statements, and SOX audit.
• Participate in other assignments and ad hoc/special projects as required.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor / master’s in commerce degree & Chartered Accountant required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in an accounting or finance role with at least 3 years leading a finance team
• Experience of working in a multi-national software product company or SaaS preferred.
• Knowledge of US GAAP is preferred.
• Implementation knowledge of NetSuite, Concur, & Coupa will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Excel Macros will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set and negotiate priorities.
• Build relationships and work efficiently across a global organization.
