Methods/Process/Manufacturing Engineering (Senior Manager)

Description

Manufacturing Production Process Engineering focuses on designing, developing, and implementing new or revised production processes for the efficient/economical mass production of goods including Designing arrangement of manufacturing equipment to ensure most efficient and productive layout.

Designing the sequence of production operations, specifying procedures for the fabrication of applicable tools and equipment, and adapting machinery in response to factory conditions.

Conducting tests throughout all stages of production to determine control over applicable variables and troubleshooting/solving production problems. Providing guidance to product design engineering on technical specifications that will best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

Education

Ensuring that production processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency:

Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities-

1 Lead a team of 3~4 Process Engineering personnels and Tool Room supervision.

• Must be proficient in Team and stakeholders handling. Hands on experience in fixture and tool designing, Process documentation (PFC, PFMEA, Control plan, Process sheet, layouts, etc.), PPAP/APQP and NPD. Should have process knowledge of all Manufacturing Processes specially Machining and Assembly and special processes like surface treatment, washing processes, non-conventional processes, etc.
• Should be able to conceptualize and implement automation projects, process fool proofing and other improvement projects related to QCDSM. 4.Must generate and implement cost saving ideas.
• Should independently face Customer, IATF, HSE and other internal audits. 6.Lead 5S activities.

Technical Skill Sets

• Proficient in 3D modelling software's like Idea/Pro-E/Catia/UG,
• Proficient in AutoCAD,
• Knowledge of Industrial Engineering activities,
• Deep knowledge of Manufacturing Processes,
• Knowledge of Process Engineering documentations,
• Knowledge of Mechatronics/Automation, latest trends like I4.0, IOT, etc.,
