A MERN Stack Developer at DataNova in Ahmedabad is expected to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. This hybrid role involves both front-end and back-end development responsibilities.


Tasks

Key Responsibilities:



  • Front-End Development: Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js, ensuring compatibility across various devices and browsers.

  • Back-End Development: Develop server-side logic and APIs with Node.js and Express.js to handle data processing and integration.

  • Database Management: Design and manage databases using MongoDB, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to deliver high-quality products.

  • Version Control: Utilize Git for version control to manage codebase changes effectively.

  • Testing and Debugging: Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure application functionality and performance.

  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and deployment processes.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (typically 1-3 years) in full-stack development using the MERN stack.

  • Experience managing third-party API integration with rate-limiting, token based authentication and data processing.

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related front-end technologies.

  • Experience building visualization dashboard in React / Next JS

  • Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.

  • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.

  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
