distributed frameworks in a fast - faced startup environment. Within the NCM team, you'll find no

About The Team
The role will be part of the Intelligent Operations team at Nutanix, which focuses on developing
services for Day 2 operations including monitoring, automation and remediation. This team
works on creating scalable, distributed services that enhance the efficiency of Nutanix
Infrastructure management and observability workflows.
The team is split between San Jose, CA, and India and embraces a culture centered around
collaboration, technical excellence and a pro-active approach to problem solving. The aim of the
team is to automate routine administrative tasks, and auto-remediate issues that may occur in
customers' systems and to innovate in this space. The new hire is expected to be in office for an
average of 3 days a week, promoting collaboration while also enjoying flexible work setup.

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.

Your Role
- Design core software components for the NCM product, focusing on scalability and performance.
- Implement the complete software development life cycle for assigned features, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery
- Write efficient code and conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate closely with product management and UX teams to define functionality and align on customer use cases.
- Establish and maintain transparent communication with stakeholders regarding project progress and challenges.
- Lead initiatives to innovate and enhance monitoring, automation, and remediation services for Day 2 operations.
- 3-6 years of software engineering experience with a Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or related streams
- Proficiency in Go / Python / Java programming languages.
- Proficient in REST APIs, YAML, Kubernetes, Cloud deployments.
- Previously experienced in architecting and designing core software components.
- The ability to write efficient, thread-safe, and highly performant code
- Proficient with Linux, Git , JIRA
- Having an owner's mindset and experience working in a fast-paced and demanding environment with good knowledge of SDLC practice
