Job Overview

Mid-Level Mechanical In-charge role with 4 to 6 years of experience in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, India. This is a full-time position in the DCS Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising and overseeing mechanical operations, conducting preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting machinery and railway equipment, and coordinating spare parts procurement and repair activities.

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as a Mechanical In-charge or a similar role
• Solid knowledge of locomotive systems and railway equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to supervise and lead a team of mechanical staff
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in spare parts procurement and inventory management
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Supervise and oversee mechanical operations to ensure smooth functioning
• Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery and railway equipment
• Perform corrective maintenance and troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical issues
• Coordinate spare parts procurement and manage inventory
• Plan and schedule repair activities to minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Train and mentor junior mechanical staff
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain efficient operations
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation related to mechanical operations
