A Snapshot of Your Day

Responsible for creating 3-D models and fabrication drawings for centrifugal compressor components, while migrating 2-D designs and ensuring alignment to Siemens Energy’s engineering standards. Manage project timelines, maintain drawing revisions, and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• 3-D Modeling and Drawings of components / assemblies related to packaging of Centrifugal Compressors
• Migration of 2-D drawings to 3-D models using commercial engineering CAD software
• Maintain drawing revision control
• Follow Siemens Energy global engineering standards and drafting practices
• Create fabrication drawings & pipe isometrics for ready to manufacture
• Implement engineering design projects
• Effective utilization of available tools & resources
• Recording and tracking of time used for various projects
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information of Siemens Energy products
  
  
  

What You Bring

• B. E / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with experience ranging from minimum of 2+ years to 5 years in the relevant area
• Hands on experience with CAD Tools like, NX in Turbomachines (Centrifugal Compressors/Gas Turbines/Steam Turbines) and preferably in Oil & Gas Domain
• Hand on experience with PLM tools like Teamcenter
• Thorough knowledge of GD&T, Drafting Standards and Welding Standards
• Working Knowledge of Modeling and Detailing of Turbomachinery Packages
• Working Knowledge on GA, P&ID, Base plate, and Auxiliary Systems
