We are seeking a highly skilled Manual QA Engineer, specializing in mobile application testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing mobile apps on both Android and iOS platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience, identifying bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile products.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms to ensure functionality, usability, performance, and compatibility.
• Create, update, and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans specifically tailored for mobile app environments.
• Identify, document, and track bugs in bug tracking tools like JIRA, Excel, and similar, and collaborate with developers for resolution.
• Conduct various types of testing such as functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, usability testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for mobile apps.
• Test across a wide range of mobile devices, screen sizes, and OS versions to ensure compatibility.
• Work closely with the development team during sprints to understand new features and functionalities and validate them during the release cycle.
• Maintain detailed test reports and documentation of testing procedures and provide updates on the testing status and quality metrics
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in manual testing of mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of mobile testing techniques such as UI/UX testing, gesture testing, interrupt testing, performance testing, and app installation/upgrade testing.
• Familiarity with mobile emulators and real device testing.
• Experience with mobile app distribution platforms (Google Play Store, Apple App Store) and understanding of deployment processes.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Monday, or similar
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills to identify bugs and inconsistencies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, or mobile app automation frameworks like Appium (optional, but a plus).
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Basic knowledge of using Charles Proxy, ADB (Android Debug Bridge), or Xcode for mobile debugging is a plus.
• Familiarity with mobile app performance monitoring tools and testing APIs is a plus
