We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Manual QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing and validation. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues and ensure the delivery of high-quality applications.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing and validation. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues and ensure the delivery of high-quality applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Planning & Design:
- Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand requirements and create detailed, comprehensive test plans.
- Design and execute test cases for functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Testing Execution:
- Perform manual testing on web, mobile, or desktop applications, identifying bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
- Validate that software meets the business and technical requirements.
- Defect Management:
- Identify, log, and track bugs in the bug-tracking system, ensuring clear and concise documentation.
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Document test results, provide status updates, and communicate issues clearly with stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain QA documentation, including test cases, checklists, and user scenarios.
- Process Improvement:
- Suggest improvements to QA processes and best practices to enhance the testing lifecycle.
- Contribute to building a culture of quality within the team.
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- 3-10 years of experience in manual software testing.
- Familiarity with SDLC and STLC processes.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in creating and executing test cases and test scenarios.
- Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
- Knowledge of tools like Postman for API testing is a plus.
- Experience testing in a specific domain (e.g., eCommerce, FinTech, etc.).
- Knowledge of test automation tools and a willingness to transition to automation in the future.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent.
