Job Purpose

To lead and manage the electrical and electronics maintenance functions of the plant, ensuring high equipment reliability, minimal downtime, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance Management:
• Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of electrical and electronic systems.
• Ensure timely resolution of breakdowns to minimize production loss.
• System Reliability & Uptime:
• Monitor and improve the reliability of electrical systems, drives, motors, and control panels.
• Analyze root causes of failures and implement corrective actions.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead a team of electrical and electronics maintenance engineers and technicians.
• Conduct training and skill development programs to enhance team capabilities.
• Automation & Control Systems:
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and other automation components.
• Support process automation and control system upgrades.
• Energy Efficiency:
• Monitor energy consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.
• Ensure optimal operation of power distribution systems.
• Compliance & Safety:
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical installations.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain maintenance logs, equipment history, and compliance records.
• Prepare reports on maintenance KPIs, downtime analysis, and improvement plans.
