Manager Logistics Operation

The Logistics Manager will lead and manage all logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. The role focuses on optimizing supply chain efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of products. This position requires excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvement in logistics processes and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee Logistics Operations: Manage and coordinate all logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution

Optimize Supply Chain: Develop and implement strategies to streamline logistics processes, improve efficiency, and minimize costs

Monitor Shipment Timelines: Ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods to customers by tracking and overseeing shipments

Vendor & Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and suppliers, including negotiating contracts and rates.

Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while avoiding overstocking and ensuring seamless supply chain processes.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all logistics operations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze logistics performance data, including delivery timelines, costs, and supplier performance, and present actionable insights to improve operations.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (sales, production, and procurement) to ensure alignment and efficient coordination across departments.

Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the transportation, warehousing, or delivery processes.

Qualifications And Experience Requirement

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience

Experience in logistics management within the manufacturing industry (Experience in HVAC is a plus).
