Job Description
The KPMG Global Services (KGS) Tax is a diverse team spread across multiple cities in India. We provide tax and compliance services to KPMG Firms globally. Our core services include Business Tax, Global Mobility, Indirect Tax, Global Transfer Pricing, Global Trade Compliance and Tax Technology delivered by our professionals, who are known for their technical acumen and business insights to deliver exceptional client service.

Responsibilities
Roles & responsibilities
Manage client expectations and delivery of services to expatriate employees of corporate clients
Develop and maintain relationships with clients
Develop and review tax equalization and international assignment policies
Review and sign tax returns and equalizations of expatriate and inpatriate employees
Mentor and coach staff
Manage resource allocation, workflow, and resource utilization
Keep track of budgets and profitability of the engagement.
Manage reporting to the client and KPMG stakeholders.
Qualifications
Educational qualifications
Minimum master’s degree from reputable universities with excellent academic result, majoring in Accounting or Finance Experience
Enrolled Agent Certification or CPA
Mandatory technical & functional skills
The candidate must have 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a Big 4 Firm
Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including spreadsheet programs (i.e. Excel).
Broad exposure to federal income taxation and knowledge of tax regulations
Key behavioral attributes/requirements
Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations without compromising on quality and ethical standards and values
Excellent written and Exceptional communication skills
Strong Leadership and personnel management skills, Analytical skills with detail orientation.
Team player; self-driven and ability to work independently as well as able to motivate team members
Growth and commercial Mindset
Strong Analytical ability.
Target driven and customer focus.
People management skills with demonstrated ability to build a transparent and cohesive team.
Work collaboratively with the clients and deliver quality services by enforcing quality and KPMG standards.
Preferred Technical & Functional Skills
Knowledge on Financial Services sector from Global Mobility tax perspective is an added advantage.
An awareness of and an interest in the US political and economic environment.
