Manager - Finance & Accounts
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manager for our General Accounting team. This role will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day general accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial audits. The General Accounting Manager will play a key role in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up to date.
Responsibilities
General Ledger Management: Oversee the preparation and maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with accounting principles.
Month-End & Year-End Closing: Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring that all financial data is reconciled and reported in a timely manner.
Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Account Reconciliations: Oversee the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, resolving discrepancies and ensuring accuracy of financial records.
Internal Controls: Ensure the implementation and maintenance of strong internal controls to safeguard company assets, reduce financial risk, and promote compliance with financial regulations.
Audit Coordination: Assist in the coordination of internal and external audits, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial documentation.
Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including sales tax, VAT, and other applicable taxes.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving accounting processes and systems, streamlining workflows, and enhancing the efficiency of the general accounting function.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the general accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other finance departments, operations, and external stakeholders to provide financial insights and resolve any accounting-related issues.
