Role: Digital Strategy Principal Consultant (Manager)

As a Manager in a Digital Strategy role at PwC India, your aim is threefold:

  • to lead projects with clients throughout the discover, design, and target state phases of (digital)


strategy engagements. Based on your previous work experience (strategist in digital consulting or

tech consulting company, business analyst, product owner for digital solutions) you can combine

business objectives, customer needs, and technical solutions and translate these into impactful

digital concepts.

  • You develop a team of consultants on the topic of digital strategy: team management on projects,


internal knowledge sharing and overall coaching.

  • Finally, you are also willing to engage on the topic from a commercial perspective. In conjoint


effort with the rest of the senior management team, you support in the development of new

business. At the level of manager, this is mostly done by identifying on-project opportunities at

your client and building relationships with senior project members at your clients.

You do this as part of our broader multidisciplinary team (Strategist, Technology Experts, Enterprise

Architects, Project Management Professionals, Domain Experts, Sector Experts)

PwC India, Digital Strategy is a technology centric advisory consulting practice in India and is a

specialized team, delivering customer-focused solutions. Our focus is on helping large companies

understand their digital maturity, develop, and design their business-led digital strategic roadmaps with

the right technology foundation

Your key responsibilities

 You are the day-to-day point of contact for clients and Associate Director and Directors on

projects. You structure and engage teams to deliver high quality outputs;

 Along with senior management, you take the lead in identifying client issues and proposing the

most appropriate approach for challenges that enterprise clients face;

 You help develop the business and acquire new clients and engagements, including the

identification and pursuit of business opportunities by forging strong client relationships;

 You are involved in defining and delivering digital strategy projects to our clients;

 You drive strategic discussions regarding business objectives and strategy KPIs.

 You represent the voice of business strategy, leading the synthesis of quantitative and qualitative

data to ensure project address their needs.

 You drive ideation, evaluation, definition, and prioritization of features and use cases.

 You help lead a cross-functional team of strategists and technology experts to deliver client-value

To qualify for the role you must have

 Master degree in business or engineering

 Bachelor degree in engineering

 You have 5-7 years of experience in digital strategy, digital concept definition, digital realization;

 You have delivered advice to clients on how to go from strategy to impactful consumer-facing

digital solutions;

 You have experience with several of the following digital interactions (B2C or B2B): digital service

concepts, e-commerce platforms, self-service platforms, smartphone applications, chatbots,…;

 You have experience in project management and know how to ensure to deliver qualitative work

in collaboration with client teams.

 You have a strong business sense and know how to translate business objectives into digital

solutions;

 You partner effectively with business stakeholders & solve problems. You’re comfortable and

effective at framing decisions with clear and logical arguments;

 You have extensive experience with design sprints and concept creation with the use of design

thinking as a philosophy;

 You are up to date on digital trends, mobile development, online marketing;

 You have good product intuition and reinforce decisions through a deep understanding of

customer insights and analytical data and are well-versed with using tools like MS Excel and

PowerBI for visualisation and analysis;

 You have an understanding of agile development processes and have worked collaboratively with

cross-functional teams;

 You’re comfortable operating in a fast-moving, fluid and dynamic environment. You know how to

push things forward and constantly push toward clarity and successful delivery;

 You have strong written and oral communication skills, with experience facilitating group

discussions and building high quality presentations in PowerPoint;

 Strong team spirit, balanced by a healthy sense of autonomy;

 Excellent communication skills;

 A global mindset, eagerness to learn, and the ability to function in global teams;

 People management and project management experience
