 Public Cloud Operations Lead with extensive experience in managing and optimizing public cloud environments, such as Azure, GCP, and OCI. Proficient in designing, deploying, and maintaining highly available and scalable cloud infrastructures. Requires more than 6+ years of experience in cloud operations and engineering roles.

 Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (Azure Solutions Architect, etc.) are preferred.

 Technical Skills

 Proficiency in managing and optimizing public cloud environments, including Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud.

 Strong understanding and experience with cloud services, such as compute, storage, networking, databases, security, and monitoring.

 Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.  Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

 Familiarity with cloud-native monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Google Cloud Monitoring and ELK stack.

 Understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and CDN.

 Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and infrastructure management.

 Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., CIS benchmarks, GDPR, HIPAA).

 Job Summary

As a Public Cloud Operations Lead, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing public cloud environments to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our cloud infrastructure. Working within Airtel Cloud Solutions, you'll collaborate closely with engineering teams and clients to design, implement, and support cloud solutions. Your responsibilities will include managing cloud infrastructure, implementing automation, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving continuous improvement efforts.

 Responsibilities

 Manage and optimize public cloud environments, including Azure, GCP and OCI.

 Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructures.

 Implement automation for provisioning, configuration, and deployment tasks using IaC tools.

 Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and cost efficiency.

 Troubleshoot complex issues related to cloud services, networking, security, and performance.

 Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in cloud environments.

 Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions.

 Provide technical expertise and support to junior engineers and stakeholders.

 Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cloud technology.

 Skills and Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

 6+ years of experience in cloud operations, infrastructure management, or related roles.

 Proven experience with public cloud platforms, such as Azure, OCI or GCP.

 Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

 Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

 Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (GCP Certified Solutions Architect, OCI Solutions Architect, etc.) are preferred.

 Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
