Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of all machinery and equipment at the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) in Mathura. The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure smooth plant operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and align machinery, equipment, and mechanical components as per technical specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery, conveyors, trommels, shredders, and other plant equipment.
• Perform regular servicing to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain lubrication schedules for all mechanical components.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or operational issues in plant machinery.
• Repair or replace defective parts, including motors, belts, pulleys, and other equipment.
• Assist in the installation and alignment of new machinery or equipment.
• Work closely with operators, fitters, electricians, and welders to address maintenance issues.
• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience in maintenance roles, preferably in an industrial or waste management setting.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including motors, conveyors, and gearboxes.
