Maintenance Engineer - Projects

Overview

• Custodian to the Materials, Measuring equipments, tools and tackles, Machine Manuals, records, fuels, oils available with project department and also to the Departmental keys

• Site working contractors work permits and safety maintenance in all respects
• Recording the physical attendance of the contractors work man, reporting and follow up.
• Conduct Tool box meeting for safety during work and must be completed within max time of 15 mins
• Allocate the job assignments to the contractors working under him within at shift start time & issue the related Work Order details / documents & explain any criticalities involved during the work.
• Ensure that all all-safety precautions are taking during work and caution them time to time.
• Prepare and conduct Routine Inspection of the Project works, Machines, Equipment’s & Utilities.
• Execute assigned works as per time schedule and taking the measurements and record the MB book regularly .
• Reporting the deviations and empower to stoppage of work if instructions are not following properly.
• Ensure that all employees and contractors working people must use the required PPEs & adhere to all safety rules / practices of the Company.
• Ensure that the project activities are at the required speed and Quality levels as per the Company standards.
• Seek all required support from Superiors to achieve the required targets.
• Check & validate, the individual works Completion and prepare reports.
• Identifying the shortage of material for work progress without any hindrance work must progress and cautioning the contractors regularly.
• Publication of Progress of work Daily /Weekly/ Monthly reports.
• Ensure Participation & play a key role for site works 5S & EHS initiatives.
• Ensure that immediate reporting of any kind of ‘Near Miss’ / ‘First Aid’ cases / ‘Safety Incidents’ to the Safety officer & concerned Superiors is done.
