Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python Scripting Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad.

In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining Python scripts to automate critical business processes, particularly within the realm of alarm configuration pipelines.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data center and controls engineering, to understand their needs and translate them into efficient and effective technical solutions.

Your ability to automate repetitive tasks and your proficiency in SQL will be key to enhancing our operational efficiency and driving innovation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Python scripts to automate the creation and management of alarm configuration pipelines.
• Collaborate effectively with partner teams, including data center operations and controls engineering, to gather requirements and coordinate on technical solutions.
• Identify and implement automation solutions for manual and repetitive tasks across various operational workflows.
• Write and execute SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data relevant to scripting and automation efforts.
• Maintain and enhance existing Python scripts, ensuring their reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Python scripts and automation processes.
• Document all developed scripts, processes, and solutions clearly and comprehensively.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing Python scripts for automation.

• Solid understanding of SQL and experience in writing and executing complex queries.
• Familiarity with data center operations and/or controls engineering concepts is highly desirable.
