Candidate Should Have

  • 15–20 years of experience in the domain of Supply Chain Management, handling Mechanical Packages, including both domestic and import operations.
  • Strategic Procurement Planning:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and suppliers to determine the best sources for materials and services.
  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with key business associates.
  • Cost Management:
  • Analyze purchasing patterns and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Prepare clean sheet costing estimations before negotiation meetings to derive the most competitive supply/services.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to secure the best deals.
  • Purchasing & Contract Management:
  • Ensure compliance with the purchasing process, including creating and issuing purchase orders.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues such as delays, quality concerns, or cost increases.
  • Supplier Management:
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to enhance collaboration and improve performance.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory procurement standards.
  • Manage procurement risks by evaluating and mitigating potential issues in the supply chain.
  • Implement best practices in procurement and continuous improvement processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, commercial acumen, and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferable.
