Crimson Education is a global education company that helps students unlock their full potential through university admissions support, online high school learning, and career coaching. With operations in over 30 countries, we are growing fast — and so are the legal and compliance needs that help support our global business. We recently closed our Series D capital raise at a US$600 million valuation, marking a new chapter of growth and innovation.

We are looking for a Legal & Compliance Coordinator to join our international legal function. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining compliance frameworks, supporting governance processes, coordinating key legal workflows, and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day legal admin.

This is an ideal role for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for working behind the scenes to help a lean legal team stay ahead of the curve.

What are the main responsibilities for this role?

  • Maintain and update the legal risk register, policy library, and compliance trackers
  • Assist with company governance administration, including drafting resolutions, maintaining company registers, and supporting entity compliance filings
  • Coordinate legal workflows such as contract intake, digital signatures, and document management (Google Drive, DocuSign, etc.)
  • Support the People Team and Immigration workflows, including visa document prep and contractor agreements across multiple jurisdictions
  • Prepare and format policy documents, contract templates, and internal legal guides
  • Assist in gathering internal documentation for audits, regulatory requests, and due diligence inquiries
  • Support insurance renewal and claims processes, tracking follow-ups and liaising with brokers
  • Assist with budget tracking, external counsel invoicing, and legal cost allocation
  • Track regulatory changes and help escalate relevant updates to the Director, Legal & Compliance
  • Coordinate legal training logistics, including presentation formatting, scheduling, and recordkeeping
  • Maintain strong documentation hygiene, naming conventions, and shared folder structure across global legal and compliance matters

What skills and experience are required?

  • 1–3 years’ experience in legal operations, compliance support, contract administration, or a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Strong attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy and formatting
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Google Workspace, DocuSign, and cloud-based filing systems
  • Bonus: experience working with legal teams or in a regulated or professional services business
  • Based in Thailand, Indonesia, India, or South Africa (or with legal right to work there)

Why work for Crimson?

  • Flexible hours – designed to align with NZST for real-time collaboration
  • Fully remote role – work from anywhere in your home country
  • Global exposure – work across legal matters touching 20+ countries
  • Opportunity to learn from experienced legal professionals and grow your skills in compliance, legal operations, and governance
  • Be part of a mission-driven company shaping the future of education worldwide
  • A supportive, collaborative, and fast-paced work culture
  • Limitless development and exposure – our internal promotions/role changes made up 33% of all recruitment last year
  • $1000 individual training budget per year, we love to ‘Level Up’ (it’s one of our core values)!
