Our client, a leading conglomerate is looking to hire a junior-mid level legal professional in their team in Mumbai who for their IPR team.



Role and Responsibilities

Intellectual Property Management

  • Manage intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and designs
  • Handle filing, prosecution, opposition, maintenance, and renewal of IP rights across jurisdictions
  • Address counterfeit actions and enforcement proceedings globally
  • Advise on brand clearance, promotional materials, and domain name disputes

Contracts & Legal Advisory

  • Draft and negotiate intellectual property and commercial contracts
  • Provide legal guidance on packaging, legal metrology, consumer protection laws, and ASCI-related issues

Database & Compliance Management

  • Maintain the intellectual property database and oversee expense management

Key Skills

  • Strong knowledge of IP and consumer protection laws
  • Expertise in contract drafting and negotiation
  • Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and multitasking ability
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management
