Working for Siemens Financial Services Information Technology (SFS IT), you will work on the continuous enhancement of our Siemens Credit Warehouse solution by translating business requirements into IT solutions and working hand in hand on the implementation of these with our interdisciplinary and international team of IT experts. The Siemens Credit Warehouse is a business-critical IT-application that provides credit rating information and credit limits of our customers to all Siemens entities worldwide.

You’ll break new ground by:

• Select the right technologies, considering market trends, technical and economic feasibility.
• Develop and optimize existing solutions and processes, e. g. by process harmonization, consolidation of applications, interfaces, and other IT Services.
• Be part of our excellent collaboration team, together with our internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead a team of 5 Java developers, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
• Design and implement highly scalable and maintainable software solutions using Java and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Manage project timelines, priorities, and deliverables.
  
  

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

• Degree in Computer Science, Business or Business information systems, or equivalent education qualification.
• Excellent IT Know-How backed by work in enterprise environments.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in IT projects in the domain Financial Services.
• Deep knowledge of both traditional and modern Java software development (JEE, Microservices).
• Theoretical knowledge about secure coding, clean code, and quality assurance.
• Experience as a member of an international, virtual team including external partners.
• Hands-on programming experience in agile methodologies, such as SCRUM.
• Experience in development of IT applications, preferably in the role of a team lead.
• Analytical information processing and decision-making competences.
• Professional communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent business English (mandatory) and optional German language skills (speaking and writing).

This role is based in Pune/Mumbai. You’ll also get to visit other locations in India and beyond, so you’ll need to go where this journey takes you. In return, you’ll get the chance to work with international team and working on global topics.
